It is critical that your PMP credential be linked to your PgMP credential to allow you to maintain your Continuing Certification Requirements for both credentials within the same 3 year/60 PDU cycle. Simply put, you can maintain both credentials for the same amount of PDUs as keeping only one credential current.
Without linking the two credentials, if you wish to maintain both credentials, you must obtain 60 PDUs for the PMP every 3 years and 60 PDUs for the PgMP every 3 years, for a total of 120 PDUs.
